Throw Away Your Romaine Lettuce

CDC warns consumers that romaine lettuce is not safe to eat

On Tuesday, November 20th The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned shoppers against consuming romaine lettuce following an E. coli outbreak. 

A reported 32 people have been infected with an outbreak of E. coli in 11 states, according to the CDC. Fortunately, no deaths have been reported yet. Maryland is one of the states where a sickness has been reported. 

The CDC advises people to throw away any romaine lettuce even if they have already eaten some and didn't get sick.
