Oh Hi!!  Okay, you can just plan on getting a test from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in coordination with the FCC on October 3rd at 2:18pm.  It will say "Presidential Alert" but you won't really get a message from Donald Trump (well, not really).  The test will be sent to cell phones that are connected to Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA).  It's actually the fourth nationwide test since 2011.  See, the EAS, (Emergency Alert System) is a national public warning system that provides the President with communications to address the nation during an actual emergency.

It WILL say, "THIS IS A TEST of the National Emergency Alert System.  NO ACTION IS NEEDED.  This system was developed by broadcast and cable operators in voluntary cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.....etc.....etc....."

Some cell phones will receive the test messages and some will not.  WEA compatible cell phones that are turned on, and within range of an active cell tower, and whose wireless provider participates in WEA should receive the message.

So there you go.  You're welcome!  And President Trump is NOT trying to contact you to go to the White House for coffee.  ;)
