In honor of the little boy lost in the Bel Air multi car crash Monday

March 14, 2019

By Diane Lyn

I have the heart of "Harford", as a lifelong resident of Bel Air, I was so touched about what happened on Monday in our community. The multi car crash that took two lives, was beyond words. One of those victims, 7 year old Tripp Johnson of Joppa. His mother Megan remains in the hospital from her injuries. This cute little boy, so full of life and happy is now gone. My hometown of Bel Air has come together! So today help us with: The Main Street Fundraiser for the Johnson Family:

On Thursday, March 14th both Black Eyed Suzie's and MaGerk's BelAir will be donating 20% of sales to the family. All tips at the upstairs bar of BES will also be donated.

Flavor Cupcakery: Thursday , March 14th, Flavor will donate 20% of the sales from both their Bel Air and Cockeysville shops.

Caprichos Books: 15% of all sales from 10-6 on Thursday, March 14th.

Uptown Cheapskate: 15% of sales on Thursday, March 14th.

unWined: On Friday, March 15th UnWIned in North East will donate 20% of sales to victims and families.

Bonefish Grill: On Monday, March 18th, Bonefish will donate 25% of it’s proceeds to the family.

Go Fund Me: This Go Fund Me is set up by Tripp’s mother’s employer:

The Hair Lodge, Salon Studio: collecting donations

With Love Beauty Bar & Studios: collecting donations until Saturday at 3pm

In addition to all of this, The school principal at Tripp’s school, William Paca Old Post Road Elementary, is collecting gift cards for the family as well. In the school’s PTA Facebook post they noted "suggestions include local carry out restaurants, grocery stores, and grocery delivery. The family is currently receiving plenty of prepared meals from other places and this will help in the following weeks as those donations wind down. Please deliver gift cards to the school office (either building). If your family or child would like to create a sympathy card for the family or a get well card for Tripp’s mom you can turn those in at the school as well."

Thank you for your help and being a great blessing to this family!
