Here are five events you absolutely can’t miss in Baltimore this week:


Open Swing – Splash City Golf at Sandlot

Where: Splash City Golf in the Inner Harbor (1000 Wills Street Baltimore, MD, 21231 United States)

When: August 19th; 12 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Price: $10 – $40

It’s open swing day at Sandlot! Hang out in the sand, enjoy the breeze, and hit bio-degradable golf balls at floating targets in Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor. Purchase tickets here


2018 Annapolis 10 Mile Run

Where: Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (550 Taylor Ave Annapolis, MD 21401)

When: August 19th; 7:00 a.m.

Price: $65 – $100

Grab your sneakers and participate in the 43rd annual Annapolis 10 mile run! Run through scenic and historic Annapolis and over the Severn River. Runner’s World Magazine has listed this race as one of the top ten 10-mile races in the country! After the event, enjoy food, beer, live music and an awards ceremony. Register for the race here.


Maryland State Fair

Where:  The Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium (2200 York Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093)

When: August 23rd – September 3rd

Price: $5 – $20

Celebrate the end of summer at the 137th annual Maryland State Fair. Enjoy rides, games, food, drink, home art, and a museum as well as livestock and horse exhibits, live concerts and entertainment, live Thoroughbred horseracing, and SO MUCH MORE! Summer Sounds at the Square

Where: Belvedere Square (529 E Belvedere Ave, Baltimore, MD 21212)

When: Fridays; 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Enjoy local bands, a cold beverage, and a delicious meal at this family-friendly outdoor concert. This week dance and sing along with New Romance in a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Additionally, there will be a kids zone full of fun activities, many local vendors, and more! For details click here


Maryland Renaissance Festival
