You're More Likely to Get Dumped On December 11th Than Any Other Day of the Year

December 3, 2018

If you still haven't gotten your significant other a Christmas present, you might want to hold off until next week, because there's a chance you won't need to bother anymore.

According to statisticians in England, you're more likely to get dumped on December 11th than any other day of the year.

The study is based on Facebook relationship status changes from "in a relationship" to "single," which peak on December 11th every year.

And the holidays are definitely the reason behind it, because you've decided you don't want your boyfriend or girlfriend to meet your family, or you don't want to get them a present, or you just can't fathom going to a bunch of parties with them.

Whatever it is, December 11th is exactly two weeks before Christmas, so that's the last possible moment to pull the ripcord on a relationship without looking like a really bad person for dumping them too close to the holidays.
